Widmer (Toshi), Dipl.Psych. Yogateacher, licensed Hypnotherapist,
studied 6 years psychology at Johann.W.Goethe university Frankfurt.
She received her training in hypnotherapy in southern France by
Dr.G.Bayer and at the "Estudio de Bioinformación S.L.",Valencia.
She studied eastern tecnics of meditation in India and received
Yoga training by disciples of B.K.S.Jyengar. Working als yoga-teacher
and hynotherapist since 19 years in Spain she combines western methods
of psychotherapy, like hypnotherapy, Roger's client-centered psychotherapie,
bioenergetics, neurolinguistic aproaches etc.with the eastern methods of meditation, yoga, chakra-balancing,
and breathing therapy.

about the course: Yoga - Chakra-balancing
The workshop is combining yoga practice with chakra balancing .ABOUT CHAKRAS : According to chakra-theory, that originated
from tantrism, chakras (chakra=wheel ) are functioning in the energetic-system
of man as receivers, transformers and distributors of prana, the
vital life-force. Tantra means "expanding force of imagination"
and includes the body-sensations as a source of spiritual and psycho-physical
experiencing and self-exploration. In other words, our capacity
of visualisation is stimulated by the physical-sensual experience
of the ongoing energy-transformation, which leads to an expansion
of our consciousness. For simplification we are dealing with seven
main chakras from which each one is corresponding to another essential
psycho-physical aspect of man.As an example, the third chakra, the
solar-plexus centre, corresponds to the element of fire, the colour
yellow, and contains essential psycho-physical aspects of willpower,
self-confidence, the formation of interactive structures with others
and the outer world, social identification, the drive for power
and achievement...In its disharmonic way of functioning there can
be found f.e. a lack of self-confidence, low self-esteem, inner
discontent and restlessness that may result in an exaggerated striving
for power, control, recognition, material goods and the supression
of emotions. An underfunction of the third chakra may result in
depressive restriction of self-realization, lack of willpower and
self-esteem....Chakra-therapy deals with experiencing, opening,developing
and harmonizing of the essential energy-potentials.By including
different sensory-levels, like auditory and visual, but also body-movement,
or special breathing tecniques, stimulating resonances in the corresponding
chakra may be achieved. The stimulation and guidance of imaginative-processes
activate changes in consciousness. In an effective way, western
methods of psychotherapy can be connected with basic aspects of
chakra-therapy, f.e. guided imagination, cognitive hypnotherapy,
gestalt- and art-therapy.
